World Duty Free and Disney partner to bring Rogue One experience to Gatwick airport

World Duty Free (Twitter: @WorldDutyFree), one of the world's leading travel retailers has partnered with Disney (Twitter: @Disney) to launch a Rogue One experience at Gatwick airport.

As a part of the deal, visitors will be able to experience exclusive elements of the film. As the visitors will move from car park to the airport terminal, they’ll see walkways, ceiling and digital screens featuring graphics and promo footage from the new film.

On entering the World Duty Free Gatwick South store passengers will get a 360° Star Wars virtual reality experience wherein after wearing the VR helmet, the player will become a Rebel X-wing pilot in space fighting for their life in a battle against the Empire. There will also be costumes of five main Rogue One: A Star Wars Story characters including Jyn Erso, Captain Cassian Andor, Bodhi Rock, Chirrut Imwe and Baze Malbus where fans and travelers can interact and take photographs. Also in the store, customers will discover travel exclusive Star Wars fragrance sets and an extensive range of LEGO sets. 

The Rogue One experience for the upcoming movie was launched on November 23, 2016 and will be available for the next 6 weeks.
